Skin cream for men?

can anybody recommend a good face moisturiser for men?

Skin cream for men?
Our faces (men and women) are made of the same oils, cells, etc, so men can use the same products that women use. The only reason brands have a "mens range" is for marketing purposes - men would prefer to buy a black or blue bottle of face wash rather than a pink or cream one.

Just make sure he is using the right wash/moisturiser for his skin type - same as the ladies do! If it's oily skin, or dry, you have to buy the products specialised for oily, or dry skin, otherwise you are doing more damage than good.
Reply:botanics its got a full range you can get it in boots!!!!!!!!!
Reply:I'm sure the ones for women would be OK, as long as you don't mind smelling of flowers.
Reply:Clinique's range is good apparently.
Reply:Nivia for men. - I'm a builder %26amp; that SHxxt stops my face drying out in the wind / sun etc. - taken years off me !! lol.
Reply:the only products you should use to avoid being a metrosexual, or gay wannabe, is soap (unperfumed), deodorant (a manly one, like schick), shaving cream,(preferably barbasol), and a good after shave, full of alcohol (like aqua velva). use anything else at your own risk. if you really need your face moisturized, use some bacon fat!
Reply:there is no such thing. only bad, bad , bad ones.

its just not right
Reply:To be honest, men can use the same skin care as women. I would reccommend products from H2o, Nuetrogena, and Clinique though.
Reply:my hubby swear by FCUK stuff
Reply:johnson %26amp; johnson's baby lotion! Can't go wrong really!
Reply:loreal has a line of mens skincare, if you want something cheap but still good quality

clinique has nice mens line of skincare too.
Reply:Use the simple range of moisturiser unperfumed and actually quite effective its what i use
Reply:Nivea. I've heard it works really well. =)
Reply:Mary Kay has a men's line now.
Reply:Try avon they do good products for men and women
Reply:water... often!

most creams are full of the stuff... they rehydrate the skin:-)
Reply:One that I've been using for years now is the Carrot Cream from Body Shop. Good moisturising, not a strong smell, no too fatty and has beta caroten for the all important healthy tint of the skin...:) The only problem is that it probably doubled its price over last 8 years.
Reply:Nivea seems to be pretty good - (white bottle, blue cap) and totty like the smell. I use it after shaving. Splendid stuff.
Reply:Hi, I can recommend a product my husband has been using for the past 4 months and really likes. It is from a company called Arbonne and it is their NutriMenC Line. They have a complete set, but you can buy the items separately. They have a SPF8 Moisturizer in the line. Since my husband has been using these products he doesn't get ingrown hairs anymore and his neck doesn't itch all the time. You can view it in their online catalog at http://www.wonderful.myarbonne.com
Reply:There is a Simple range that you can get from Boots. It's fragrance free and good value for money.

Body Shop do a good mens range (and they will give you little samples for free to see if you like it.) Prices are a little more than the Simple range though.

All the bigger brand names like Clinique - you're paying for the name and lots of anti aging chemicals, making them significantly more expensive.
Reply:My ex husband is currently swearing by the new range for men in NEXT. but the Nivea range is top banana too, he used to use that before he became Next obsessed
Reply:Try Natique, it`s good for men.
Reply:nivea, nivea and more nivea. it makes ya face feel so smooth
Reply:Elemis do a great kit on QVC for men, with shaving products also contained.
Reply:Hi - my hubby uses the L'Oreal for Men range, very good stuff. Its in a grey and orange bottle.

Skin cream for men, whats the difference from say cheaper Nivea To more expensive stuff like lab series etc?

other than the price, are they the same?

Skin cream for men, whats the difference from say cheaper Nivea To more expensive stuff like lab series etc?
If you are talking about less expensive products v. more expensive and famous brands, I think it all depends on what product we are talking about. Nivea is a great brand and has been around for ages. My grandma at the age of 97 had a spotless skin and she used Nivea all of her life. For Men's skincare, I suggest Loreal or Philosophy-
Reply:real men dont use skin cream, dont be such a girl !
Reply:nothing mate. nivea will do just as good as all those over-priced ones. nick your wife`s if you can!
Reply:I'd imagine its the same for women's creams, some claim to reduce wrinkles more, stop the signs of ageing, or protect the skin from the sun etc. Most of which is not true, but they do help.

But its all down to personal choice, choose different products until you find the one that suits you best, and that my not necessarily be the most expensive.
Reply:same products but you are paying for a brand name
Reply:Generally the more expensive creams work better, but not that much better, maybe 20 % maximum. If they were only costing 20 % more I would buy them , but it's more like 250 % more ! Men literally have thicker skin than women so it matters less what you use. I find nutrimetics good, but a little dear. Just keep trying till you find a cheaper one you like, and visit the Vogue skin care forum for advice, it's really good.
Reply:clarins do a very good mens cosmetics selection and so does molton brown - the quality of the ingredients in the more expensive products is better.

Dermadoctor KP Duty Skin Cream for chicken skin, does the cream really work? Has anyone tried it?

I have, it woks pretty well but you have to use it a lot, it smells kinda weird, and the results are very gradual (I didn't really notice a difference, but after about three months someone said that my skin was smoother). I also found that it seems to come back after you've stopped using it.

Try Clinique. Works for me and I've been using it for over 15 years!
Reply:Try using Arbonne. It's pure, safe and 100% botanical.

Especially for sensitive skin.

Does any one know any type of cream or skin injection for scars that quickly heals scars?

Well last year 2007 on December6, I was bitten on my face by my dog on the right side of my face a little bit below my eye near my nose(right side). Since then I've been using Fred Summit's Ultra Blend%26amp;Tone cream. Instead of it blending my scar in with my skin tone it lighten up around my cheek. I have been also using Walgreens Scar Gel it haven't really been working. And I plan to go out of town on March20. But before I go I want this scar off of my face. So my question is does any one know any type of cream or anything that can quickly heal my scar? I do plan to go to the Dermatologist but I haven't scheduled a appointment yet. And or does anyone know any skin injection for scars? Well if you do please let me know.

my derm told me to use Mederma . that stuff is kind of expensive, but works wonders.
Reply:Mederma works fine. Its pricey but worked. I used it for some bug bites that scarre me and it worked...took about 2 months. I don't think anything will work in weeks (unless its drastic)
Reply:some things that might help as far as i know might include green tea, vitamin c, vitamin e, vitamin a, aloe vera, and honey.both taking these internally and applying topically can help.other than that i'm sorry but i don't really know what to tell you except to take care of yourself as naturally and healthy as possible and good luck.i don't know a whole lot about the healing properties of papaya but i have tried it, both eating it and applying as a mask, for my acne scars and pimples and it did a lot of good for my skin.it's a seasonal fruit though so it's hard to find except for in the spring and part of the summer i think.um i don't really know of what else to recommend but a little research can do a lot of good.

Who knows any skin cream that could help my skin?afro skin?

this is for afro skinned person

Who knows any skin cream that could help my skin?afro skin?
cocoa butter

shea butter

almond oil
Reply:Is Afro skin care different from white skin care? I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil and coconut oil and my skin glows! No lines and moisturized better then when I used store bought skin care. I recommend it for Afro and white skin. I was afraid it would give me an oily face but instead, my skin drinks it in. I use the EVOO first and then a touch of coconut oil. Been doing this for months now and even my Hubby noticed a difference. Now he uses it too!

Try it! You'll be pleasantly surprised!
Reply:Black or white skin - it doesn't matter. It's more important if it's oily, dry, normal, mature. Do you have pimples, black heads or blemishes? Use only professional facial products. http://www.skin-care-products-usa.com./i...

Does chocolate ice cream darken skin?

if i eat lots of chocolate ice cream, will my skin get darker?

Does chocolate ice cream darken skin?
If it did, I'd be as brown as a Hershey's bar.
Reply:uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

NO.
Reply:Nope, but you might get a sugar imbalance or gain a lot of weight from eating too much.
Reply:NO
Reply:Nope :-(

I could use a nice tan about now though.. and I DO eat lots of chocolate..

Chocolate's my favorite sweet b/c it's got like the perfect taste.. white, milk, dark, it doesn't really matter.. they're all addictive :(
Reply:Yes, due to recent surveys, chocolate ice cream will make your tone slightly darker. For instance, I have a friend who used to eat a lot of chocolate flavored ice cream. Now he has a very dark skin tone.
Reply:i guess not!
Reply:No. Your skin will darken based on the melatonin in it. If you have low melatonin levels, your skin will never get dark. This is why some people burn so easily. The only way to attempt to darken your skin is to tan, either by laying out in the sun or going to a tanning booth, or using that tanning lotion, which people will know its fake.
Reply:NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Hmmm... interesting question.

One things for sure, and that is if you eat lots of chocolate ice cream you will gain weight.

But to answer your question, you'd have to really eat A LOT to find out, and I just think it's not worth the hassle. If you want to get darker just buy some brown paint from Home Depot and paint yourself brown. Go for it.
Reply:not unless you take the ice cream and rub it all over your skin. then youd be dark and sticky....and that would be a waste of ice cream.
Reply:You have to smear it all over yourself and then go out in the sun for at least an hour.
