I have skin blemishes from popping my pimples and wanted know what is a good skin lightening cream?

Right now i am on differin gel and duac gel for my acne. Its clearing my skin up alot but heard that getting a skin lightening cream well help remove the scars from picking my pimples.

If it's scars you can always try Mederma. I've been using it on some dark spots that I have and it seems to be helping already.

There is one, I think by Physicians Formula, that works great when you put it on first, then your matching concealer (base) over it.





I have a scar I cover in pictures this way (not an acne scar, but still a discolored scar), and it works great!
Reply:The lightener will only lighten ALL of your skin so that the scars don't show as much. There are tons of different ones out there, like porcelana.





Better than that is to wait until your acne treatment is done and have a laser resurfacing done. It will even out your skin tone.

Reply:Lightening cream bleaches then skin and may make the scar less noticeable, but it won't remove the scar. Were you prescribed the gels from a dermatologist? It so you may want to ask him/her about treatments that will remove the scars.


Try microdermabrasion or facial peels. You can have it done at a good salon or day spa. They will also help with your current acne. Also, Olay carries a home-microdermabrasion kit that is great! You can get it at Wal-Mart for about $20.
Reply:I use something that takes away the old acne spots. Scars, or just a darker patch of skin due to repetitive acne. Its called Neutrogena Advanced Solutions - Acne Mark Fading Peel with CelluZyme.





I use it 2-3 times a week and it has made my face look clearer.

Reply:If you have gentle skin it's probably a good idea to use Proactive, I've personally tried it and after 1 week of it all MY blemishes were GONE! ZAP! BAM! But if you have not so gentle skin then I suggest useing hard core scrub stuff for your face.
Reply:i dunno really, i mean i enjoy popping my pimples but not when theyr in critical areas of my face, unless i pop em profacianlly, no joke here.
Reply:I haven't had a pimple or had skin blemishes ever but I did have scars. I used Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula and my scars are disappearing and my skin is lighting up. I also use Clean %26amp; Clear and Noxzema , both which really lighten up any kind of skin. But first ask a doctor if you can use any of these products. I hope I helped!
