Why am i getting more acne when i use this expensive skin cream?

hello, i am using this skin cream which i have to cleanse twice a day, and put these seperate creams dpeending what time of the day it is today. i started using it last saturday, or sunday. i have noticed that i have gotten MORE acnesince using it. i usually have like 5 pimples on my face, sometimes none but now my face is going crazy. is it cause of blackheads?? why is this happening?

just it cost more does not mean it works better. I use stuff from target and my face is pretty clear except every now and then, but that is because of stress. Sometime cleaning too much removes the good bacteria that helps your skin and opeing pores to let the dirt in. Try using dove and a white terry cloth to clean your face.

Go into your local dermatologist and ask for something that is right for your skin

Reply:maybe your skin just wants to heal naturally try washing it everyday for about 2 months,3 times a day use soap and water
Reply:sometimes these skin creams even expensive ones, will not agree with skin type. so you have to speak to a dermatologist to see what works best for your skin type. i had that problem once and i use this olay skin cleanser with those beeds in them and this helped better than anything on the shelf for me. try it.
Reply:its clogging ur pores dont use cream... just wash ur face 1 or 2ce a day and then use COLD CREAM from ponds it works and it doesnt clogg ur pores and then wash ur face again

Reply:I think you are using Zap Zit. Give it time. It worked great on my bro. and sis. but made my face break out!!!! use proactive or OleHendrickson. Buy proactive aver the phone and OleHendrickson at Victorias Secret. No matter what brand you but makesure that it comes with a toner, to reamove excess oils on your face. And go light on creams.Just a little will work. Good luck! And just FYI blackheads are not really visible and they wouldnt be the cause of your breakout. Buy a special blackhead extraction tool from sephora. It works great!!!!!!!











Wait I forgot one thing! buy rubbing alcohol and rub it on your facce 2 times. Once at 12 and again at 4.

If it's making things worse, no matter how pricey it is, it's not what you need. Stop using it.
Reply:Hi you could be over doing it,or it might be an allergy i had the same problem with Garnier products so i switched to washing my face twice a day with neutrogena skin clearing blackhead cleanser and moisturising with Nivea Visage Q10plus day and night cream and it worked for me , hope it helps
Reply:An allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in the cream. Does not work for every one the same way...and for you it does not work at all. Ask a pharmacist about it and they may be able to identify which chemical is most likely causing the problem for you.

Reply:You don't need to be using expensive creams to get beautiful skin. Always give products at least 30 to 45 days to try. The reason is, it takes 30 days for a pimple to heal and sometimes you might have a pimple under your skin that you can not see. So what is happening is your cleansing your face and these pimples are already under the skin that have formed and are now erupting through your skin. Don't be alarmed they will heal, just leave them alone and don't pick them. If you pick them the bacteria from that pimple will spread and cause more pimples. Just be patient. If you are breaking our severely, then i would try a different product. The reason for blackheads is just clogged pores try to exfoliate once to twice a week to remove that sticky,dry skin off your skin. That will eliminate most of those stubborn black heads.
